Master Furrier

We are a well-established and reputable furrier, recognized for our dedication to craftsmanship, quality, and design in fur restyling. We are currently in search of a highly skilled and experienced Master Furrier to become an integral part of our dynamic team.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Master Furrier at our company, you will play a crucial role in the creation and restoration of fur garments. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Treating and preparing furs for manufacturing or restoration
• Grading furs based on quality and suitability
• Creating accurate and precise patterns for garments
• Expertly cutting fur using a furrier’s knife
• Opening and repairing damaged skins to the highest standard
• Blocking furs to achieve the desired shape and finish
• Sewing garments both by machine and by hand with precision and care
• Restyling and altering existing fur garments to meet customer requirements or updated design standards

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 20 years of experience as a furrier
• In-depth knowledge of various fur types and their properties
• Mastery in the use of furrier’s tools and equipment
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong pattern making and garment construction skills
• Ability to repair and restore fur garments 
• Experience with both machine and hand sewing
• Creative and artistic with a keen eye for design and style
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
