Do you buy pre-owned furs?

We do not buy pre-owned furs.

Do you accept pre-owned furs as a donation?

Yes, we accept pre-owned furs as donations. If you do not have a use for your furs and don't know what to do with them, you can donate them to us. To donate, contact us to receive a shipping label for sending your furs.

Can you repair my fur?

Yes, we are a full-service furrier and can repair your fur garment. To provide an accurate estimate, we need to see your fur in person. Please mail it to us, and once we receive and review it, we will contact you with the repair details and an accurate estimate.

Do you offer fur cleaning and alterations?

Yes, we offer all fur related services including cleaning and alterations.

Where do you host your Trunk Shows?

We host our Trunk Shows at established boutiques across the country or in hotel conference rooms for two-day events. Check our events page for future events. If you don't see an event near you, sign up to be notified when we come to your area. We add new territories each season based on interest and inquiries.

Is my fur insured while it is in your possession?

We carry a standard furrier's liability policy, which is limited to $100 value per garment. We strongly advise customers to insure their furs through their own homeowners' policy.

Where is the fur restyling done?

All our orders are meticulously handcrafted at our offices located in Downtown Orlando.

Can we visit your office and place an order in person?

Yes, you can visit us Monday through Friday from 10am to 5pm. Feel free to stop by during our business hours or call us to schedule an appointment.

How long does the fur restyling process take?

On average, the process takes about 3-4 months, depending on our current workload.

How do I pay for an order?

After accepting the estimate for the work, a 50% deposit is required to begin. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before the order is shipped to you. Payments can be made with all major credit cards.

Do you alter restyles if they don’t fit correctly upon delivery?

Yes, if the restyle doesn’t fit correctly upon delivery, we will require pictures of the issues to make the necessary alterations. There is no charge for these additional alterations if they are needed due to fit issues from the original delivery. However, free alterations only apply to issues from the original order and do not cover any new alteration requests.

How will you know my sizing for a restyle if I mail my fur for alterations?

If we need to alter the size or restyle your fur to your measurements, we will require you to send us a well-fitting jacket as a sizing reference. Please ensure the jacket is structured and not stretchy. Additionally, we may ask for pictures of you wearing your coat to better understand your fit and body type.

We are a family-owned and operated company since 1919. LaBelle Furs is one of the oldest family-operated businesses in Central Florida. Restyle Your Fur, established in 2002, is the restyling division of LaBelle Furs, focusing on fur restyling and serving customers across the country. Since then, we have been offering fur restyling services and continually growing our fur restyling designs.

What are your shipping rates?

Shipping is free for any major restyling jobs. For small repairs or cleanings, shipping charges will apply. The exact shipping charge will be provided once the box is packed and we have created a label via UPS.

What shipping service do you use?

We typically ship via UPS or USPS.

Warranty

Warranty of Fully Restyled Garments

We warranty the craftsmanship of our restyled garments for three years. During this period, we will repair any rips free of charge from the order completion date. However, please note that we do not warranty the integrity of the fur pelts since they are recycled material.

This warranty is valid only if your furs have been professionally stored in cold storage and cleaned annually. Proper maintenance, including annual cleaning, prevents the oils in the fur from drying out, which can cause rips and tears. Failure to maintain your furs properly will void our Craftsmanship Warranty.

As a courtesy, your restyled garment will receive free storage for the first year and one free cleaning. In the future, you can use our Nationwide Fur Storage Shipping Program or store your fur with a reputable furrier near you. If you choose to store with another furrier, we will require proof of storage and cleaning records for any warranty work on your fur.

Warranty on Fur Teddy Bears and Accessories

We offer a one-year warranty on the craftsmanship of our teddy bears and accessorries. However, we do not warranty the integrity of the fur pelts since they are made from recycled material.

During the first year, we will repair any rips free of charge. This warranty is extended to three years if the teddy bears and accessories are stored in fur storage during the warm season to preserve the oils in fur pelts.

To ensure the longevity of your teddy bears and accessories, we advise keeping them away from heat sources, direct sunlight, and in cool conditions.

Please note, our fur teddy bears are not toys but cherished keepsakes.

Warranty on Fur Repairs

We will repair your furs, but we cannot provide a guarantee on repairs due to the age of your garments and the integrity of the pelts. Since the furs we receive vary in age and some may not have been properly stored in the past, we cannot provide a guarantee on the repairs.

We will complete the repairs if possible and advise you on the condition of your furs.

If the fur cannot be repaired, or if additional fur or other options are required for the repair, we will inform you accordingly.

We strongly advise that furs be stored in fur cold storage and cleaned annually to protect the skins from drying out and to prolong the life of the garment.
