We are on the search for an individual who brings foundational knowledge in furrier work, combined with a profound eagerness to hone their skills and advance to a Master Furrier level under the guidance of our seasoned professionals.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Apprentice Furrier in our esteemed business, you will:

• Engage in active learning and hands-on experience alongside Master Furriers, delving deeper into the art of fur treatment, grading, and bespoke garment creation.
• Enhance your skills in pattern making, precise fur cutting, skin opening, and both machine and hand sewing of fur.
• Master the techniques required for repairing and restoring damaged fur skins to their original glory.
• Practice the specialized craft of blocking and finishing fur garments to perfection.
• Play a role in the restyling and altering of existing fur garments, ensuring they meet our high standards and client expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Demonstrable foundational knowledge and skills in furrier work, and a strong aspiration to progress towards becoming a Master Furrier.
• A basic yet solid understanding of garment construction, with a particular focus on fur materials.
• A sharp eye for detail, a commitment to precision, and a proactive mindset geared towards continuous learning and skill enhancement.
• The ability to diligently follow instructions and work cohesively under the mentorship of experienced furriers.
• Excellent communication skills, and a capacity to work harmoniously within a team setting.
• Unwavering reliability, punctuality, and a robust work ethic.
